Bay Clinic, Inc. is seeking applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position is stationed at the Administrative Offices located at 450 Kilauea Avenue, Suite 105 in Hilo, Hawaii.


ROLE SUMMARY

  • Developing and implementing an ongoing strategic plan which involves staff, the Board, and external partners.

  • Overseeing the development, evaluation, and ongoing refinement of Bay Clinic Programs ensuring the delivery of high quality and affordable care.

  • Ensures the organization maintains sound financial practices and operates within budgetary guidelines.

  • Reports regularly to the Board of Directors regarding organizational objectives and financial status and implements procedures and plans to support Board policies.

  • Maintaining Bay Clinic's visibility and desirability as a recipient of grants and partnership opportunities and oversee intentional and proactive outreach to legislators and potential collaborators.

  • Build trust relations with key partners, external providers, individuals and organizations who will support Bay Clinic in realizing long-term objectives.

  • Lead and motivate key management staff for the purpose of developing a high performing managerial

  • team while supporting a collaborative, engaged and culturally diverse workforce.

  • Ensures that Bay Clinic complies with all relevant County, State and Federal rules, laws and regulations.


REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of executive level management experience in a community clinic, hospital, medical group, managed care, or other healthcare or not-for-profit organization. Knowledge of FQHC operations, funding streams, regulations, and compliance is highly desired. Strong financial and operations skills are critical, as is the ability to anticipate the future, diversify revenue sources, and position Bay Clinic, Inc. for the on-going changes in healthcare.
