West Hawaii Community Health Center (WHCHC) is actively seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join itsteam on the Big Island of Hawaii. WHCHC is a busy, fastgrowing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the island’s west side with six clinics located throughout Kailua Kona, Kealakekua and Waikoloa, HI. Their mission is to make quality, comprehensive and integrated health services accessible to all, regardless of income.
WHCHC is dedicated to offering services that are culturally sensitive and promote community well-being through the practice of mālama pono (caring for others in a way that is right). As an LCSW at WHCHC, you will help people function in their environment, deal with relationships, and solve personal and family problems. LCSWs often see clients who face a lifethreatening disease or a social problem, such as inadequate housing, unemployment, a serious illness, a disability, or substance abuse. LCSWs also assist families that have serious domestic conflicts, sometimes involving child or spousal abuse.
- Master’s degree in Social Work required.
- Licensed as an LCSW in the State of Hawaii.
- 2 years progressive experience in a clinical setting preferred.
The total compensation package includes competitive wages and a full range of benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance. Additionally, we offer a paid time off program, as well as 40 hours of CME time and a maximum of $2,500 CME reimbursement per fiscal year.
