Medical Director/Family Physician

Molokai Community Health Center (MCHC), a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide leadership, management and oversight for its medical practice. The Medical Director will be part of the executive management team that coordinates the integration of primary care, dental, behavioral health, enabling services and other. The Medical Director is scheduled to carry an appropriate patient load.

Minimum Requirements: Current Hawaii Medical License, Board-certified Family Physician and eligible to obtain hospital privileges. Experience with community health center and/or with underserved populations and/or management and electronic health records are preferred.

Medical Director/Family Physician

West Hawaii community Health Center (WHCHC), a non-profit, community-based health center is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Medical Director to provide leadership, guidance and oversight for its clinical practice (medical, dental and behavioral health). The Medical Director is responsible for managing the medical care and other clinical services, directing the clinical staff, directing peer review and quality assurance/improvement, and ensuring corporate compliance of clinical services. The Medical Director must maintain a clinical practice, as well as serve as a member of the senior management team.

Minimum Requirements: Current Hawaii Medical License, Board-certified Family Physician,
Medical Director Experience, Experience at community health center and/or with underserved populations (highly desirable), Experience with iEHR systems (preferred)

Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited/certified AANP program specializing in family/adult medicine and have prescriptive authority in Hawaii. Health Educator

General Description: Ho`ola Lahui Hawai`i, a non-profit community health organization serving Kauai county is seeking a Health Educator. The position will focus on those with or at risk for diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Responsibilities include individual and group nutritional assessment, health education, and working in conjunction with primary care providers.

Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate must have current certification as a diabetes educator. Must have an unencumbered license to practice in the State of Hawaii as a Licensed Dietician or as a Registered Nurse. Familiarity with Hawaiian language and culture a plus. Willingness to travel on Kauai and work directly with patient in both HLH clinics in Kapaa and Waimea is required. Excellent salary and benefits.

Chief Financial Officer

General Description: • Oversees budgeting, planning, and business decision support analysis • Provides financial analysis and support for strategic planning • Oversees day-to-day fiscal operations including: accounting, medical billing, dental billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. In addition, the CFO is responsible for Federal, State, and City & County reporting. CFO and supervises the Purchasing and Information Technology functions. The CFO is a key member of the KPHC’s Executive Team. The ultimate objective of the Executive Team’s efforts is to ensure that KPHC provides quality care, a high level of client satisfaction, and strong organizational performance.

Minimum Requirements: Willing and able to commit to and live by the following five commitments of the Executive Team: o Listen and respond respectfully and empathetically o Communicate effectively o Be accountable and promote organizational and personal accountability o Support the Executive Team o Promote transparency as the general rule, while protecting confidentiality where required or otherwise reasonably expected.

Preferred requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • MBA or a CPA

Professional Experience: • Minimum: Five of practical experience directing financial operations in accordance with GAAP and two years of relevant management experience. • Preferred: Five years of practical experience directing financial operations (in accordance with GAAP) in a Health Care organization and three years of relevant management experience.

Associate Medical Director (FAMILY PRACTICE or DO) - Kalihi Palama Health Center

Under direction of the Executive Director, the Associate Medical Director (AMD) is responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, and maintaining quality standards for patient care in all clinical areas. AMD assists with assuring that provider needs and issues are articulated in a professional manner and addressed effectively. AMD assists with ensuring that the organization’s expectations are communicated clearly and objectively. AMD assists with ensuring that the organization has an effective balance between mission and margin. AMD assists with establishing and maintaining adequate provider coverage in assigned clinical areas. AMD is also expected to provide patient care services in their specialty. This position is 50% clinical and 50% administrative.

Minimum Requirements: Doctorate in Medicine (or Osteopathy), board eligible or certified in primary care specialty.
Preferred requirements: Family Practice preferred. Meets current CME requirements for licensure.
