Community Health Center patients receive the best, comprehensive health care possible. With committed, experienced providers that work together, Community Health Centers use an integrated, team approach to care for the whole person. CHC provider teams – including physicians, nurses, and specialists in behavioral health, nutrition, dentistry, translation, and native healing – work collectively and proactively to get patients well and to keep them well.

Some health centers have expanded their wellness programs to include exercise classes like yoga, zumba, and cardio-fitness. Hana Health and Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services have incorporated organic farming to help teach patients about healthy eating and also about caring for our communities.
